Asbury UMC offers programs for Middle School and High School youth on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. We enjoy time spent laughing, sharing and caring for one another in addition to studying God’s word.
Our youth leaders work hard to find Bible study topics that are relevant for today’s youth. Recent studies have included: “My Testimony,” “The Beatitudes,” and “Living a Jesus Centered Life”. Sometimes we use our time together for open sharing, where we discuss current events or anything that might be on their hearts and minds.
Service & Missions:
Our service trips have included serving lunch at christian ministries, sorting boxes for Operation Christmas Child, serving at the Asbury Resource Center (ARC), working with the Asheville homeless mission and several of our youth worked with orphans during our Honduras mission trip over the summer.
Our youth enjoy a variety of fun fellowship opportunities throughout the year. We watch movies, play games, go bowling, travel to McAdenville to see the Christmas lights (which always includes a stop at Krispy Kreme) and much more.
